Here we are revising combat feat rules. We are also adjusting the existing combat feats, clarifying the rules, changing their level, adjusting their effects, and balancing them. These are optional rules. Please consult with your GM and all PCs to use or not use them.

Acquiring of Combat Feats[edit | edit source]

In this revision, we changed how combat feats are learned. PCs have Learning Slots showing the number of combat feats that can be learned according to the adventurer level. Whenever your adventurer level increases, Learning Slots are added. PCs can learn new combat feats up to the current number of Learning Slots. The number of Learning Slots a PC has for a given Adventurer Level are as follows.

Learning Slots cannot be held[edit | edit source]

You must learn a combat feat immediately when your number of learning slots increases. You cannot reserve learning slots to later learn combat feats.

Automatically acquired Combat Feats don't count towards Learning Slots[edit | edit source]

Some combat feats are automatically acquired when you reach certain class level. There are two types of such feats: “automatically acquired passive combat feats” and “automatically acquired active combat feats”. Automatically acquired combat feats can be learned regardless of the number of learning slots. If you meet the requirements for acquiring such a combat feat, you can acquire it immediately. You cannot acquire these any other way. Automatically acquired combat feats will be learned when you reach the class level specified in the “Gain” section of the listing. Such feats have an “Auto” tag after the name.

Number of Combat Feats that PCs can learn[edit | edit source]

The total number of Combat Feats a PC has learned is equal to the number of learning slots available + automatically aquired combat feats

Replacing Combat Feat[edit | edit source]

Using these rules, you can replace some learned combat feats. Replaceable combat feats have “I”, “II”, and “III” in their names. These combat feats can be learned by replacing (overwriting) the lower rank combat feats (with the same name but lower number) that you have already learned. By replacing combat feats, you won’t need to spend learning slots for them. In other words, it will be possible to learn a new combat feat after replacing. You can replace combat feats only when you gain a new learning slot.
