Guidelines for running a Barbarous PC[edit | edit source]

This section gives guidelines for creating and playing a character with a Barbarous PC.

Guidelines for Character Creation[edit | edit source]

Barbarous PCs have many more Racial Abilities than their humanoid counterparts, and some of them are more complicated than others. In particular, it is important to note that Drake Knights and Basilisks have the ability to transform into multiple forms. Also, you must take into account the existence of the new "Heritor" class and their ability to expand on these transformations. Players should make sure to familiarize themselves with the special characteristics of their PC's race and be able to use them well.

Barbarous History Chart[edit | edit source]

Listed here are the history charts for Barbarous PCs. Chart A and B are for Barbarous who have left Barbarous society and are living in harmony with humanoids. On the other hand, C is for characters who were born into Barbarous society, have lived as Barbarous, and may include some extremely antisocial backgrounds. The player may choose these randomly by rolling dice, or they may choose themselves. In any case, histories are for the purpose of setting the mood of the character, not for restricting behavior, so please use them with caution. They are not meant to encourage actions or behaviors that may annoy the GM or other players. You may choose up to three histories, and you may use them in conjunction with the historiy tables you wish to include in CRI and CRII, as well as Ignis Blaze
